Operation eBook Drop was created by independent author
Edward C. Patterson who,
with the cooperation of
Mark Coker, founder of Smashwords, set the program in action. This
dynamic web site is designed as a tool to facilitate interaction between
publishers, authors and troops.
The forum
is open to anyone interested. Certain areas are restricted to members and member
groups. Currently there are two member groups: Military, which includes deployed
active duty personnel and their dependents, and a group for Authors and
Publishers of eBooks.
